Managment Charter

The Management Charter, also called the Heptahedron of Change, forms the first step in the translation of strategic choices towards the Enterprise Architecture. This “manifesto” for management consists of seven areas (hence heptahedron) that embed the strategic choices:

1. Identified Core Competencies of the organization as a whole
2. Based on these the required Management Principles are defined
3. Principles are designed for dealing with Organizational Knowledge on all levels of the enterprise
4. Culture principles like Organizational Learning and Openness of Communication are defined
5. General and specific principles for governance in different organization domains are designed
6. Principles of Leadership are defined based on the necessary enterprise competencies
7. Principles of Control of the Organization, Performance and Control are designed
